Baked Red fish Recipe


  • Deep Sea Red Fish 1kg
  • Cumin Powder 2g
  • Cumin grains 2g
  • salt 6g
  • crushed chilli
  • olive oil
  • cooking wine


  1. Scrape off the scales, remove the internal organs and gills, and clean them.

  2. The grilled fish needs to be tasted in advance, apply a layer of salt on the cleaned fish, and drip some cooking wine.

  3. Cut open from the abdomen, lay flat, sprinkle cumin powder and chili powder on both sides, and marinate for at least 2 hours.

  4. Place a layer of shredded onion on the baking tray,

  5. Place the marinated red fish on top of the onions on the baking sheet.

  6. Coat the fish with olive oil.

  7. Preheat the oven and adjust it to 190-200 degrees.

  8. Bake for 10 minutes, flip and bake for another 10 minutes.


When cleaning, pay attention to removing the gills, which is the key to reducing the fishy smell.
