Easy Beef Stew with Tofu

Beef stew with tofu is a dish mainly made of beef and tofu. The finished beef stewed tofu has a rich soup and bright colors, which can be said to be full of color, fragrance and taste. Taste a bite of tofu, with the meaty aroma of beef, it tastes very fresh and delicious.   • 500 grams of beef
  • 300g firm tofu
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 slice of cinnamon
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Doubanjiang
  • Thirteen incense
  • cooking wine
  • Onion and ginger
  • chicken essence
  • Salt
  • vegetable oil


  1. Wash the beef and cut into veal cubes.

  2. Wash the tofu and cut into tofu cubes.

  3. Slice green onion and shred ginger.

  4. Blanch the beef, boil the bleeding water, remove it, and rinse with cold water to remove impurities.

  5. Pour an appropriate amount of vegetable oil into the pan, heat the oil, add star anise, cinnamon and bay leaves, and sauté until fragrant.

  6. Pour in the bean paste and fry the red oil.

  7. Pour in the beef and shredded ginger, and fry the beef until fragrant.

  8. Pour in an appropriate amount of cooking wine to remove the fishy smell.

  9. Stir-fry until the beef is half-cooked, add salt and thirteen spices to taste, and stir well.

  10. Put in the tofu, add water to submerge the ingredients, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat until the beef is cooked through.

  11. Sprinkle with chicken bouillon and green onion, and stir well.
