Beer duck recipe

Ingredients

  • Hemp duck
  • beer
  • ginger slices
  • garlic cloves
  • cinnamon
  • star anise
  • bean paste
  • fragrant leaves
  • dark soy sauce
  • light soy sauce
  • salt
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients, clean and chop a duck, beer, ginger, garlic cloves, star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, and chili.

  2. Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the wok, add ginger slices, garlic cloves, star anise cinnamon leaves, and chili peppers to sauté until fragrant.

  3. Pour in the duck pieces and stir-fry until the color changes. When the color changes, turn to medium-low heat and sauté the duck oil.

  4. After the oil of the duck is simmered, push the duck to the side, add two tablespoons of bean paste and stir-fry until fragrant.

  5. Then add green onions, (or not) add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, salt, sugar, and finally add beer. Beer should submerge the duck.

  6. Cover the pot and simmer over medium-low heat for 30 to 35 minutes.

Tips:
There is no need to blanch the duck, the beer is light, and the duck oil must be stir-fried!
