Black sesame bun recipe

There are many benefits of black sesame seeds. It supplements iron, nourishes blood, nourishes hair, and protects hair. It is steamed with flour to make steamed buns. It is delicious and nutritious, especially suitable for the elderly and children.


  • 300g flour
  • 50g black sesame powder
  • 4 grams yeast
  • water
  • 30-40g sugar
  • 12g lard or corn oil

Cook direction

  1. Dissolve the yeast with water, let it stand for 5 minutes, pour it into the kneading bucket of the kitchen machine together with other ingredients, knead the dough at low speed and then at high speed for 10 minutes. Stop to check the status, then turn on the dough kneading mode, first low speed and then high speed to continue knead for 8 minutes.

  2. The kneaded dough is simply rounded.

  3. Put it into the proofing box or oven, and carry out basic fermentation to twice the size, the temperature is 28 degrees, the humidity is about 80%, 60-80 minutes.

  4. Exhaust after fermentation, knead for a while.

  5. Rub into long strips.

  6. Use a scraper to cut into pieces.

  7. Put oil paper under each steamed bun, put them in the steamer in turn, cover the pot, and let it stand for 20 minutes.

  8. Turn on high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 20-25 minutes (adjust the time according to the size of the steamed buns), turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

  9. After cooling, put it in a fresh-keeping bag and store it in an airtight seal.
