Where can I buy Chiba tofu

Chiba tofu can be found in Asian grocery stores or specialty food stores. You may also be able to order it online or through a grocery delivery service.

Why use both red and green peppers

The red and green peppers are used to add color and flavor to the dish. The use of both red and green peppers also helps create a visually appealing dish.


  • Chiba tofu, sliced
  • Plum meat, sliced
  • Celery, chopped
  • Fungus, soaked
  • Garlic, sliced
  • Tempeh, sliced
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Light soy sauce
  • Red pepper, chopped
  • Green pepper, chopped
  • Cooking wine


  1. Prepare all ingredients as described above.
  2. Marinate the sliced plum meat with cooking wine, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce for 10-15 minutes.
  3. In a pan, heat some oil and stir-fry the marinated plum meat until its color changes. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, heat some more oil and fry the sliced tofu until its surface is lightly browned. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a separate pan, heat some water and stir-fry the garlic, green and red peppers.
  6. Add the sliced meat, tofu, tempeh, and fungus and stir-fry evenly.
  7. Pour in the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and water and bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat and let cook until the tofu is tender and flavorful.
  9. Finally, add the chopped celery and stir-fry for a few more minutes. Serve hot.
