Chinese Fried Peanuts
Among the many ways to eat peanuts, fried peanuts should be the most common way to eat them, especially during dinner parties. Many people drink with some peanuts.
The fried peanuts are covered with a layer of salt, which looks oily and shiny. The crispy texture and beer make people unable to stop eating.
- 500g peanuts
- Dried chilli
- vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 scoop of chili powder
- 1 tsp pepper powder
Dried chili + peppercorns + peanuts are soaked for about three hours, the purpose is to peel the peanuts (in fact, it doesn’t matter whether you put the dried chili and pepper in this step, I feel that mine is a bit unnecessary, anyway, I will fry later).
To peel the peanuts, it took me nearly two hours to peel a pound of peanuts, and the process was too painful. After peeling, wipe dry and freeze overnight in the refrigerator.
Take out the frozen peanuts and thaw for a while and wipe the water again. Cold pan with cold oil + peanuts, deep-fry, the first time fry over medium and low heat until the peanuts float, and the second time fry at high temperature until the peanuts turn yellow, remove and drain the oil.
Cut the chili into thin shreds, put the pepper + sesame material + dried chili in the pot with less oil and fry for a while.
Pour in the fried peanuts, fry, add pepper powder + salt + sugar and fry together, finally add chili powder and fry for a while.
Turn off the heat and take out the pot.
