We all know that lettuce can be eaten in a variety of ways. It can be eaten raw after washing it. It can be eaten with sauce, wrapped in meat, or fried. The oyster sauce garlic lettuce that I want to share with you today is crisp and refreshing, and greasy. The method is also straightforward. Even if you are a novice in the kitchen, you can do it in a few minutes.
- oyster sauce
- white sugar
- soy sauce
Mince the garlic as much as possible, wash the lettuce and set aside.
Pour water into the pot, boil, and add a few drops of oil and salt. The purpose is to keep the lettuce green.
Put in the lettuce, blanch for a few times, and then remove, drain and place on a plate. The lettuce does not need to be blanched for too long. Otherwise, it will turn black and not crispy.
After the pan is hot, add oil. The oil can be slightly less, add minced garlic and stir fry. The whole process should be on low heat.
After frying until fragrant, add in oyster sauce, light soy sauce, and sugar and stir-fry for 1 minute on medium heat.
Take another small bowl and mix the cornstarch with water. Pour the cornstarch water into the pot and mix with the oyster sauce (thicken). Use less cornstarch for thickening. The ratio of cornstarch and water is 1. :20.
Finally, pour the cooked sauce on the lettuce, and you're done!
