Pomelo Tea Recipe
Drinking tea is a very traditional way of health preservation for Chinese people. In addition to traditional tea, there are also some mixed fruit teas on the market to meet people's various needs for health preservation. Yuzu lemon tea is one of the most popular ones. The preparation of grapefruit lemon tea is very simple and convenient to drink.
- a lemon
- a grapefruit
Rub the grapefruit and lemon on the surface with salt, then wash them clean.
Peel the grapefruit and lemon with a peeler (try to take the yellow skin part, the more white, the more bitter), and the peeled peel is evenly cut into filaments.
Remove the pulp from the grapefruit and break it into chestnut-sized pieces for later use; squeeze the lemon juice for later use.
Stir the chopped grapefruit peel and white sugar rock sugar evenly, add water to boil, and keep simmering on medium and low heat.
Cook until the peel becomes transparent. Add the removed pulp, and continue to simmer. When the water is almost dry, use a shovel to keep turning.
After the water has dried up, pour in the lemon juice and continue to stir until all the liquid at the bottom of the pot has dried up, and the skin and pulp in the pot are entirely transparent.
Turn off the heat and let it cool. Add honey, stir evenly, and store in a jar sealed. It can be refrigerated for 2-3 days and soaked in water for consumption.
The effect of lemon grapefruit tea
Both lemon and grapefruit are rich in vitamin C, whitening the skin and improving the complexion from the inside out. Both of them have strong melatonin ability, and the effect of long-term drinking in moderation is more significant.
