Lemon fish like chinese style

In the hot summer, it is good to have a bowl of sour and spicy lemon fish with lemon aroma


  • A black fish about 1.5 catties

How to make lemon fish

  1. Wash the ingredients and set aside.

  2. Split and wash the fish bones and flesh. Marinate the fish bones with some salt and cooking wine, and set aside for later use. Next, deal with the fish.

  3. Thinly slice the fish

  4. Cut the fish fillets and put them in clean water to wash off the blood.

  5. Squeeze out the water slightly.

  6. Add salt, starch, egg white, and lemon juice. Grab it with your hands and put it in the refrigerator.

  7. Vegetables: Slice potatoes. Thinly slice lettuce. Cut the lemon into four slices and use the rest for juicing. Slice garlic and ginger, cut green onion into sections, and cut pepper into small pieces for later use.

  8. Boil a pot of boiling water to make fish soup. In addition, I use two pots, one pot boils hot water to cook vegetables. Heat the fish soup in a pot, heat it up and add oil, use kitchen paper to absorb the water from the fish bones, and fry until golden on both sides.

  9. Add green onions, ginger slices, Chinese peppercorns, and chili peppers, stir fry.

  10. Pour in the boiled hot water at one time, bring to a boil and simmer slowly. (To make the soup milk white, you need to add enough boiling water at one time)

  11. At this time, another pot of water is also boiled. According to the ease of vegetables, add potatoes and cook for two minutes, then add lettuce and enoki mushrooms to cook. Got a pot for spare. After the vegetables are cooked, this pan can be used to heat some oil for later use.

  12. The vegetables are done, and the fish soup is almost done. Add salt, chicken essence, lemon juice, and white vinegar to taste. Put the fish fillets in the fish soup and cook for about five minutes.

  13. Spread the fish on top of the vegetables.

  14. Pour in the fish soup, cover with lemon slices, red and green chili peppers. Heat the oil until smoking and drizzle over the peppers. Drizzle some lemon juice on top if you like lemon flavor.

If the lemon is placed too early, the soup will have a bitter taste. So cook the fish first, and put in the last step.
