Recipe for pork intestine
In real life, many people like to eat large intestines, but they don't know how to make delicious pig intestines.
- 1000 gm pig intestines
- 2 garlic
- 1 green and red pepper
- 1 star anise
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 section of scallion
- cooking wine
- dark soy sauce
- light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
Wash the inside and outside of the pig's large intestine repeatedly.
Put the washed large intestine in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, add ginger slices, green onions, and a tablespoon of cooking wine, boil for about two minutes.
Remove the large intestine, wash it with water again, drain and cut into large pieces, cut green and red pepper into hob pieces, slice ginger, peel garlic.
Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot, add the garlic, stir until the surface of the garlic is slightly yellow, then scoop out and set aside for later use, add the remaining oil in the pot, add the large intestine, and fry until the oil comes out.
Add two tablespoons of cooking wine, stir well, add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, salt, stir well.
Add an appropriate amount of hot water, cover, turn to medium heat and cook for about 30 minutes, add the previously fried garlic, and continue to cook for about 10 minutes.
Add the green and red peppers, turn on the fire and stir fry for about 2 minutes.
Do not use too high water pressure when washing the pork intestine, or it will damage the knit structure of the intestine's inner lining, thus causing it to become thinner and making it lose its distinct powdery texture.
