Red bean dumpling

Red bean dumpling is a kind of dessert combining dumplings and red bean paste, the soup is thick and flavorful, sweet and delicious. It is called hong dou tang yuan(红豆汤圆) in Chinese. Red beans, also known as red beans, are richer in nutrients than foods like corn or wheat, especially in protein, dietary fiber, and starch.

Step 1:

The red beans do not need to be soaked. After cleaning them, pour them into a pressure cooker, add a small spoonful of baking soda, and then pour in 10 times the amount of water. Then turn on the heat, and when the water is boiling, simmer at high pressure for 5 minutes.

Many people are afraid to use a pressure cooker, which teaches you a way to cook red beans quickly without a pressure cooker.
Clean the red beans, then put them in a container, add some water to soak them for a while, and then put them in the freezer. After freezing, then take them out, put them directly into a pot, add water and start cooking, cook them for 10 minutes and they will be cooked.

Step 2:

After the pressure cooker is deflated, pour the red beans into the soup pot, add the dumplings and cook slowly over low heat, adding brown sugar to taste at the end. You can also skip the brown sugar and add some rock sugar. Cook and thicken, then you can serve.
